Feb. 23, 2009 marks the 277th birthday of George Washington and RAF Menwith Hill service men and women, Daughters of the American Revolution and the local Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts joined together for a wreath laying ceremony.
We had lovely weather and a great turn out, with the help of Mrs. New's Menwith Hill Elementary School Kindergarten/1st grade class.

Meet Daisy Girl Scout Troop #116

This was our first meeting for Daisy Girl Scout Troop #116!
We are: co-leaders Ellen and Shelby, our girls are Alyssa, Audrey, Emma, Gillian, Kelsi and Sophie.

Our first meeting we introduced ourselves, got to know each other and planted cilantro. In our Daisy book we talk about three girls Cora, Campbell and Chandra and the one girl loves cilantro. So we planted some, the girls had fun!
